Doll Geography Quizzes (More This Time!) edited

Hey girlies! Last time I posted printable quizzes for your dolls, I asked you what kind of quizzes you wanted to see. Many of you all asked for Canada quizzes! So I made a Canada test as well as one about South America.

For those of you who don't know about these quizzes, they are very easy to use! Just click on the image and print- no scale adjusting or fancy printer stuff needed. (There are also pre-filled with answers- right or wrong- just grade with the Teacher's Key.)

EDITED: My spelling has been corrected. It's now "British"!

Doll School Quizzes! (UPDATED!!!)

EDIT: I recently looked at my Europe Geography test and realized there was a mistake with the Teacher's Key. Sweden IS NOT part of the Baltic Republic. Therefore, the answer to questions number 4 on the the Europe Geography test is FALSE. Thank you! (I will try to get this fixed as soon as possible!)
EDITED AGAIN: Mission complete! The test is edited so it shows the correct answer. :-)

Hey girls! One of my favorite things about the Doll School kit is the fact that it comes with little quizzes that are already filled in- and can be easily passed out and "graded." However, the kit only comes with math and spelling quizzes. What about geography? Having recently participated in the National Geographic Geography Bee at my school (I came in 3rd!), I became very interested in geography. So, I thought, why not create free, printable geography quizzes for dolls?

These quizzes are easy to use. For those of you who don't own the Doll School kit, here's how they work: you give each "student" a test. The test is already filled in, so you can be the teacher! Next, you grade them using the Teacher's Guide or Teacher's Key.

To print out my two doll quizzes, simply click the image, save it to your computer, and print!

Create Your Own Doll School!

Hey everyone! First I want to start off by saying *Happy Memorial Day*! I Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Anyways, do you need something to do this summer? What about creating a doll school room? Or if you already have one, what about organizing it? Well, here are some tips that I hope are helpful!

First, find a small area that could fit doll sized school supplies. The area I use is between my desk and bookcase, but there are many other spaces too- a corner of a bedroom, a closet, or under a desk!

Next, find furniture and place it in a way in your school area that there is plenty of room for accessories and your dolls. Your desks don't have to match- I have a wooden school desk, a white desk, and brown stool that I use for the teacher's desk. I made a simple bookshelf out of an old bead box and stapled it to the wall. Although these pieces are mismatched, they work well for my school room! Also, if you don't have a teacher's desk, like me, I used a stool that the teacher can work on (like a pedestal).

Next, add accessories! I started with the walls and my bulletin board. Add teaching materials like a US Map (you can print one out online) or pictures of international locations. I created a mini poster by placing a doll sticker on the middle of a white piece of paper and then adding what type of clothing the doll wore in historical times. 

Then add teacher accessories! I used Doll School items, but many you can create on your own. File folders can be made out of paint color sample (just fold them over and cut to create the tab) and awards are easy and can be made of paper and pens.

Finally, add books! Book are great teaching materials and are perfect to accessorize in a classroom. They are easy to make- cut two pieces of cardboard and paste them together, then wrap paper over 3 sides of the cardboard, creating book sleeves. You can also use AG mini books and AG magazines.

A School Day

It was a normal day at A. Adams School for Girls

"I mean it was this big! And using my fabulous ninja powers I-" Rebecca began.

"Oh, Becca you are such a drama queen- in a good way!" Kaya giggled.

"Hello, Catherine!" Kaylen greeted her friend. "Hey!" Catherine replied.

While the girls were chattering away, Ms. Cole arranged her files and papers.

When she was ready she announced, "Hello girls. I am subsituting today because Ms. Larson is at the hosipital. Fortunatly she will return soon. In the mean time, I have some great lessons today, first is handwriting."

The girls listened intently as Ms. Cole spoke.

She then, raised the sheet and explained what it was about.

She even wrote that on the board.

Once she got her worksheet, Kaya began to write very neatly.

After everyone done, Ms. Cole collected the papers and announced that they were going to go to music class.

They all lined up to go to music class.

Once they got there, the girls chose their instruments. Rebecca with cymbals, Kaylen played the xylophone, and Kaya and Catherine chose maracas.

Rebecca clanged the cymbals together happily. She liked learning about melodies and beats.

Kaya especially enjoyed her maraca, it was such a bright color and fun to shake.

"OK class. Now as much fun this has been, we now have to go eat lunch. If you are buying yours, go to the cafeteria," Ms. Cole instructed.

While the girls were getting ready to eat, Ms. Cole wrote something on the board.

Rebecca, Kaya, and Kaylen enjoyed their hot-lunch of cake and pizza.

While Catherine brought hers.

The girls talked away at lunch, nibbling on there food. Kaylen even tried to sing- with cake in her mouth. It was so funny!

After their meal was over, Ms. Cole passed out the math tests. "Ah, man!" Kalyen mumbled- she hated math.

Rebecca, however, was great at math and was done within a matter of seconds.

While the class was test taking, Ms. Cole brought down her bag. She had a great history lesson up her sleeve.

Once the girls were done and the papers collected, Ms. Cole explained,"For your history lesson, the next couple of weeks you will read a historical fiction book about a girl your age. You will get to do a book report on it at the end of next week."

Ms. Cole then handed out the books, Meet Kit for Rebecca, Meet Rebecca for Kaya and

another Meet Rebecca for Catherine and Meet Samatha for Kaylen.

The whole history lesson was spent reading.

"OK class. School is over. The only homework is too read you historical fiction books!" Ms. Cole announced.

"Yes! Then I will have enough time too practice acting!" Rebecca cheered.

Everybody laughed then packed up their bags to go home.

"Bye Girls!" Ms. Cole called as they left the classroom.

"Bye!" Catherine exclaimed.
