An Interview with a Blogger: Liz! (I JUST REACHED 100,000 PAGE VIEWS!!!!)

Hey girls! Do you remember last October when I posted interviews with other bloggers like me? Well, I am bringing this back! (You can view past interviews on the bottom part of my sidebar.) To start I'm interviewing Liz from American Girl Fan.


1. What got you started in blogging? When I was younger there weren't many websites about American Girl dolls, so I decided to make my own when I was 14, with my dad's help. :)

2. How many dolls do you have and what are their names? I have 7 American Girl dolls: Molly, Elizabeth, Kit, Mia, Abbey (JLY), Addy, and Felicity.

3. When and how did you get your first doll? I got my first doll Molly in 2003, when I was 9 years old from my Grandma for Christmas.

4. Who is your favorite doll right now? That changes everyday!! Right now my favorite is probably Kit or Addy. :)

5. If you went to the American Girl Place right now, what would you buy? I would definitely buy Cecile, her Parlor Outfit, Crinoline & Chemise, Kanani's Beach Outfit, and some AG Place exclusives!

6. Do you like making videos, taking pictures, or writing posts the most? (that rhymed) Taking pictures!! It's so much fun to see my doll ideas come to life through pictures.

7. What are some of your favorite things (besides American Girl)? I love to write, take pictures (especially of nature), make cards, read, watch movies, anything vintage, bargain hunting (I LOVE a good deal!!), and taking trips with my family. :)

An Interview with a Blogger: Doodledog!

Hey everyone! I hope you all are enjoying your weekend as much as I am- it's so nice here in Tennessee, but that isn't all that I have for you! Here is an interview with Doodledog, writer of A Girl and Her Dolls.

1. What got you started in blogging?

          Well, first one of my friends had a blog, and then through comments I found a bunch of different blogs (like yours!) that I really liked, and finally I decided to start one of my own!

2. How many dolls do you have and what are their names?

          I currently have three dolls, soon to be four. I have Felicity, Elizabeth, and a JLY named Amythest. I'm going to get Josefina soon.

3. When and how did you get your first doll?

          Geez, I remember it like it was yesterday! Before I found out about doll blogs, another of my friends had Kit and Marisol and we would always play with them when I went over to her house. I wanted to buy one myself, and the ones on the American Girl website were too expensive, so I turned to eBay. I bid on a few dolls, but my favorite of them was Felicity. My mom and I sat by the computer, 5 seconds left, with our winning bid, and we won! Felicity arrived two days earlier than we expected.

4. Who is your favorite doll right now?

          Out of my dolls (shh!) I'd have to say Amythest. Out of all of the American Girl dolls, I have to say Josefina.

5. If you went to the American Girl Place right now, what would you buy?

          I would buy Josefina, the Pet Show Outfit, and the violin set. Those are my top three items out of the AG catalogue that I get (I swear, I think AG will still be sending me those when I'm eighty. "A great gift for you're great-grandchildren!")

6. Do you like making videos, taking pictures, or writing posts the most?

          I like writing photostories. I love taking the pictures and then making up a storyline behind it, and then (me, being an aspiring author) writing them on my blog.

 

7. What are some of your favorite things (besides American Girl)?

          I love the Warriors Series (don't know if you've heard of it) by Erin Hunter, Harry Potter (HOPEFULLY you know what that is). I love to read, write, sew, and crotchet.

An Interview With a Blogger: Claire!

Hey! Today, I thought I would start off your Saturday morning with a nice post by me and a chance to meet someone new- Claire! Claire is one of my very favorite bloggers. She's random, an American Girl Fan, random, a Harry Potter fan, random, she likes to act, and she's random! I'm random, she's random- it works. Anyways, I e-mailed her a 7-question interview and she replied back with answers! So now, why not show you the interview now?



1. What got you started in blogging?
It kind of started off with AGBrooke on YouTube about a year ago. I had found a video of hers I really liked, and then I saw the link to her blog, Avery-Here. So I checked it out and began reading. It wasn't until early August this year when I decided to make a blog. Other blogs, like this one (which I love!) also inspired me to make one as well.

2. How many dolls do you have and what are their names?
I currently have six dolls at the moment. I have Felicity, Adrienne (Just Like You #23), Chrissa, Gwen, Rebecca, and Lanie. This Christmas, I hope to get Mia off of eBay!


3. When and how did you get your first doll?
I got Felicity for Christmas 2005 (the year her movie came out) after I had her at the top of my wishlist for a year before that.

4. Who is your favorite doll right now?
At the moment, Gwen or Lanie is my favorite of my dolls. But of dolls I don't have, I love Mia, MAG #25, and MAG #35.

5. If you went to the American Girl Place right now, what would you buy?
I would buy MAG #35, some of the remaining Felicity items I hope to get before she is archived, some MAG outfits (like the new red Christmas dress and the Pet Show dress), and exclusives.

6. Do you like making videos, taking pictures, or writing posts the most? (that rhymed)
I enjoy writing my posts the most, because it is something that just makes me feel like all is at peace.

7. What are some of your favorite things (besides American Girl)?
I love to read, especially JK Rowling's Harry Potter novels. I have been reading them since July 2009, and I have read each one at least nine or ten times (I'm a fast reader). I also love dancing around to any music by Selena Gomez and having movie night. I really like blogging and the many friends online and in person that I am so lucky to have.
