I Need YOUR Help!

Hiya!
I'm starting a brand new page to help families, moms, and girls plan the perfect American Girl Place experience through reviews, tips, and tricks from people just like them! However, I need your help! Please read the questions below. If you can answer any of them (ex. 'The food was great and excellent service!' or 'The Doll Salon hair stylist rushed- not worth the $20.') please comment below with your first name and state/country!

  • Have you eaten at an American Girl Bistro or Cafe? What did you order? Was it good? How was the service?
  • Have you ever made a Creativi-Tee? Was it worth the $10?
  • Have you ever used a personal shopper? Was he/she great? Was it worth the time or was it better to pick out your own items?
  • Have you ever gone to the Doll Hair Salon and had your doll's hair styled/ears' pierced? Was the style worth the price? Was the staff friendly?
  • Have you ever gone to the Photo Studio? Was it worth it? Was it fun?
  • Have you ever used the concierge service? Was the staff helpful there?
  • How was your overall experience? Did you go at a busy time of year? Was the staff friendly and helpful?
I'm sorry if this seems like a lot, but reviews are greatly needed- especially for AG locations that I've never been too! Even if you only know the answer to one question, it's still greatly appreciated. If you can, please give a small review (even if it's negative!), this will help many parents and girls plan the perfect AGP experience!

Thank you and look forward to reading the answers to your questions!

GOTY Ramblings

Hey everyone! I have been waiting to write this post for a while- so get ready for a my views on each and everyone of the AG GOTYs- starting with Lindsey.
I don't like Lindsey that much- she's not very cute and I don't think her story was that good. And besides, I didn't even know what AG was back in 2001 when Lindsey first came out.
Kailey. She's pretty cute and I have to say- she did do a lot to help her community! Although her meet outfit isn't very cute, her hair and eye combination are! Kailey was the GOTY of 2003.
Marisol. GOTY of 2005- cute, but not my kind of doll. I am not very interested in dance and there was some upsetting remarks regarding her heritage and her reason to move from the suburbs.
Jess- 2006. I love her! I think that she has made the biggest impact by far! My cousins entered a contest about her story, an excerpt has been taken from her book for a Canadian test, and she is Asian. If I could have another doll, it would be her!
I don't like Nicki- GOTY 2007. Sure she's nice and she has a warm heart but I don't like her name or hair/face. I often forget about Nicki whenever I am listing GOTYs. She, in my book, didn't make a statement.
OMG- this girl is cute! Mia, GOTY 2008, is very hard-working despite coming from a less fortunate family. Her story is soooo sweet and so is Mia herself!
I never liked Chrissa- GOTY of 2009. She has an odd face that make her cheeks seem really chubby. I also think that her movie displayed her giving a bad example- if you brother gets a concussion, you get stabbed with a pencil, and your BF ends up with a bad haircut all because of a bully and you still don't tell? Way to show 'standing-up' AG.

Lanie- GOTY 2010- she's cute and sends a good message! Although I don't think she made the market with parents. Something about curly hair, a $295 camper, and a raccoon in a trash can might have something to do with her not selling well......

As of yesterday, I don't like Kanani. Why? She looks way to much like Marisol. I also don't like her name and guess what? After we get Kanani, AG will almost likely create another Caucasian doll and we will have to wait for an African American doll. Also, I read on another site that a commenter desribed her as ".....a mixture between Kailey and Jess......" So true!

Well, that's all the ranting for today.

MAG Products that really stand out! Part 2/2

Hey! Today I am judging/reviewing outfits! I'd love to hear your opinion too- just leave a comment!

This outfit looks really cheap- like you could buy at Wal-mart for $2. I honestly don't like this outfit although the cupcake theme is pretty cute.

I don't play basketball but this outfit is really cute! I think that it makes sense that it has InnerstarU logos on the ball and shorts so I don't really mind it. I think it's worth the price of $30 but I because I don't play  I don't really like basketball, I highly doubt I will get this outfit.

To, me this outfit is really cute! I haven't seen that many 8-12 year olds run track with numbers and track suits but it's a nice idea and $34- a pretty good price too.

I don't really like this outfit. I was never a big fan of plaid and I think it goes horribly with the light blue shirt. However, I like the boots and fun purple hat!

This is an okay look. It looks like something I would where but I don't like the small bow on the tee. But I think the graphic is super cute and I love the sweats!

This outfit has some pretty good pieces in it, but they're just not working together. I think the sweatshirt is adorable and I'm a big fan of the shoes.

This is a pretty cute look, but I probably wouldn't get it because I'm making my own Western outfit- but I love the hat and will probably have to get it for my own western look!

What do you like? What do you hate?

MAG Products that really stand out! Part 1/2

Hey! In this post, I'm just posting what MAG items that really stand out- that could be a good thing or a bad thing.... Anyways, I would love to hear your opinion too- just comment! In this part I will be judging dolls, furniture, and accessories.

This doll is just adorable! I don't what it is- but I think it's her layered hair that really makes her gorgeous!

I don't like this girl. It's her hair- it's not even red! And her online pic looks nothing like the real doll.

This earrings are so cute! I love the idea of Birthstone Earrings! I really like the aqua pair!

This set is kind of weird. The head-gear just bothers me for some reason. I mean I don't think dolls really need that! But I love the color of the toothbrush and the little braces are so cute!

I don't why I actually like this item! Obviously it's way overpriced at $68 but I think it's so cute with the fake blue tiles and the little holders on the wall section!

This set- it's just interesting. I think that it's advertising InnerstarU too much. The colors are bright and fun but the don't really go well together. However, the money is pretty cute!

This set is really cute and I love the pumpkin pie- but at the price ($24) it's not worth it. It's just paper bags, plastic food, and stickers.

Well, stay tuned for Part 2/2 where I'm judging outfits!
