Odd Posting Schedule... and New AG Site!

Hey girls! I will be discussing two things in this post so feel free to read only the parts you really want too!

Posting...
I don't know if you've noticed but my posting schedule has been kind of weird lately. I will post about 4 posts in a week and then return two weeks later. I'm sorry about the weird, short spurts of posts. I'm still adjusting to my school schedule and I participating in a cheerleading competition so we are working extra hard to pull things off. Please don't think I'm leaving or my blog is boring if I haven't posted for a week. I'm just trying to find good times to update my blog!

Re-Designed AG Site
If you've been on the American Girl website lately, you will have noticed that they've a cute Christmas theme! I really like it- as last year's was quite awful (Dear American Girl... and a pink and green color scheme) while this year's is Happy Dollidays! LOVE IT! Besides new giftcards, they are also selling new Innerstar U book boxsets for $35. Also, they're top-rated items section has been given a new name- Joy to the Girl. So cute!

So, what do you think of the new American Girl Holiday theme? Do you like it better than last year's?

Happy 4th!

Happy Fourth of July! I decided to post this picture because there's a lot of red, white, and blue!
Let's just take a moment and remember the people who gave their lives to make a America. (and they also put American in American Girls!)

Happy 4th!

Natalee

Hi!

So from my good old friend Santa Claus, my sister, Kayla, received Natalee.

Yes, she is a doll.

A Madame Alexander Doll.

She has brown eyes.

And Brown Curly Hair.

And loves the water.

She's really pretty- especially with her hair down (sorry, no pictures of that yet!)

Her full name is Natalee Mae Dixon- I came up with the name Natalee- it means born on Christmas Day!

Also, my sister is having a giveaway for some winter wear over at Forever American Girl.

Check it out!

AG Christmas Haul 2010!

Hola! Guess what? Tennessee had a white Christmas! Yippee! Unfortunately, we didn't get that much snow, so we couldn't sled. :-( But here is a photo of the snow-

Yeah, but anyways- for gifts!
I got Samantha's Fashion studio from my parents! I designed the outfit beside it.
I got Felicity's Riding Outfit and Patriot from Santa! They are too cute!
My parents gave me a Molly Book set and Mini Doll! (they are part of the same set from Costco)

I also received the Star Hoodie Outfit! (very cute, better than the stock photo) Oh and do you see that second charm?......
It's from the Ruby & Ribbon dress! This is too cute beyond words!
Red shoes.
Bejeweled headband. This outfit isn't sold out yet- get it before it's gone!
Also, an AGP Zip bag, headband, and doll shirt!

And I got this cute blanket! (for dolls, of course!)
Now this isn't exactly American Girl, but I got the Freeing Dobby HP Lego set!
And....
The Sorcerer's Companion! This is an amazing book- like a Harry Potter encyclopedia!

I hope you enjoyed your holidays as much as I enjoyed mine! What did you get?

My American Girl Wishlist 2010

Hey! I'm sorry for not posting regularly. I've been super busy with school but now, with the Holidays coming up, I hope I can do more posting.

My wishlists are always very big because my Birthday is December 15- 10 days before Christmas. I often decide what I'd like around October-November just so I'm ready. My AG wishlist this year hits an all time low of only 6 items, but with 3 I'd really like. I guess American Girl is losing it's touch- not surprising with the odd MAG commercial and their high prices.

But anyways, here it is!
My first outfit is the Ruby Ribbon Dress. It's $36 and comes with 5 pieces- a bit pricy but keep in mind that this is American Girl at Christmas.
Second, is Felicity's Riding Outfit*. I think this outfit is so adorable and really compliments Felicity's spunk and spirit.
Third on my list is Patriot*- Felicity's foal. I think she is so cute and Felicity and Kaya will enjoy having a horse.
The fourth item on my wishlist is the Cozy and Plaid Outfit*. I am a huge sucker for cute shoes and doll outfits are no exception!

Julie's Birthday Outfit is 5th on my list. I love this dress! I don't know why, but being a huge Julie fan and a lover of (some) 70s attire, I find this outfit suitable for Modern times too!
And last but not least, is the Travel Set. Although a but pricey at $28, it has beyond cute items and a very handy doll suitcase.

What's on you Christmas Wishlist?

PS The items marked with an '*' means they are the items that I really would like.
