Goodbye Lanie! (and what to expect in 2011)

Hi! Well, actually Goodbye. I loved Lanie, I wouldn't get her because of her blonde hair but she was cute and had a great personality and story!

She was charming, sweet, creative, outgoing, and didn't care what other's think. Ta ta, Lanie.


Anyways, here's what you can expect from this blog in 2011 (this will be a great year!)

• rants, raves, and opinions, 
• reviews- readers can submit reviews for any AG products and they could get featured on this blog! (I am most interested in products that new for GOTYs, MAGs, and HCs)

Kayla's Background

Hey everyone! I'm really sorry about not posting as often as I usually do. I have long rehearsals about everyday and now timed posts have become my best friend. Anyways, today while I was logging off my sister, Kayla's, computer account, I noticed that she had a new background! Check it out:

My mom helped my sister with it. My mom used Photoshop to crop around Lanie and her animals then pasted them into an already taken photo. It's turned out pretty well! I think the butterflies are probably the most realistic thing in the image. What do you think?

Hey! I love AG. It's kind of why I made this blog, but still, I love it even more because now they have:

Anyways, yes, they have new stuff! I'm very excited because I love more selection! Here it is:

Lanie's Nature Set for $54. WHAT???? $54? That is a lot for how much it includes!!!! OK, I'm sorry for my pricing comments but, you know, it is a lot for that much.... But- it is really cute although I'm not super excited about jeans with rain boots. However, the shirt is still just plain adorable with the little owl!

Kit's Play Scenes and Paper Dolls for $12.95. OK, I'm not going to freak out over this price because at leasts it's reasonable! Anyways it looks adorable!

The Puzzle of the Paper Daughter: A Julie Mystery for $6.95/$10.95. Oh yay! I love a good mystery! And Julie is one of my favorite Characters too!

Doll Parties for $19.95. I really like this book, I really do, but I just think it's kind of odd for a whole dedicated to making paper cakes and paper party things . And please don't get me wrong here, I like it, but it's just kind of weird.

A Little Paint (part 4)

Hey! Since my family got a Mac Mini, photoshopping has become a lot easier and neater- better than a PC's paint program

Today, I pulled out PhotoShop and began jazzing up some outfits- here are my results:

Hey, so as you know, I had a giveaway for some duck pajamas. Well the winner, Leah sent me some pics yesterday of her Bitty Twin and Lanie in the Pajamas- so cute!

1 More Day!

Yeah! Only 0ne more day until we get too see new American Girl stuff, including a new husky dog, Pepper, which I bought at the AG Place, Lanie's collection, and other JLY stuff (hopefully). Also this is the last day to purchase Chrissa's stuff, I would hurry and order it fast so you don't get stuck with "sold out".
Anyways, please comment on the post below, I want to see what you think. Also we would only give out monthly prizes for the person who won the most weeks. Some prizes could be bags, pajamas, and clothes for your doll.

Lanie Girl of the Year 2010

Hey! I just wanted to say that this a photo taken by American Girl that found on Queen Lucy's Blog I like how she has green eyes but the hair looks kind-of messy and hard to care for. Her dress is not very cute and overall I don't like her. I do like that AG is trying to tell girls to get outside but I think that they should've made her meet outfit more outdoorsy with khaki's or shorts but then again we haven't seen her whole collection and I shouldn't be to critical. Her bag is cute and the shoes are adorable but then again her hair is just not cool. Well I am going to the AG PLACE today and I'm really excited but I probably won't get anythingsince I already have a

lot of new stuff but I may try to get Kirsten's Woolens or an AG Place t-shirt

for my dolls.

I recently got this e-mail from American Girl and It's really cool that Lanie is going to be a nature l0ver! I think AG wants to somehow tell girls to save the Earth and get outside and doing it through a doll was a great idea! I don't live near an AG place so I can't go to the event but if anyone is going to it, please send me pictures, I would love to post them on my blog- saying that you went there and took the pictures of course! Anyways from her book cover and the e-mail we know that her meet outfit will be a striped polo dress- very unique. I also love her bunny- it is so cute, but I don't really understand why it has a leash.... I wish every one a very Merry Christmas and best wishes! ~Gabby
