GOTY 2011 and Giveaway Sneak Peek

Hey everyone! I'm sorry I haven't posted but I have been working on my Holiday Giveaway! I can't tell you what it looks like but it is completed and I have decided to give a sneak peek. First of all I just want to say that half of the outfit was store-bought and the other half was made by me. So look at these photos and check it out!

These are the shoes..... (no I didn't make these! I do not possess that kind of skill)
And here is the bracelet (yes, I made this!)
Anyways, now that you've got your sneak peek, here is some Girl of the Year 2011 news. Judging from her book titles, Aloha, Kanani and Good Job, Kanani, (both were written by Lisa Yee) we can safely bet that she will probably be Hawaiian. But, being the name lover I am, I did some research on her name (Kanani) and I found out this:
So as you can see it is Hawaiian and it is used in Hawaiian speaking countries. For info on the name you visit here.
I think this is really cool that they are creating a Hawaiian doll, which also reminded me of the poll I took last January where I asked what color of eyes, hair, and skin you think the GOTY 2011 would have. Here were my top results:
Wow! We were way off! But I have put the poll back up again so you can vote. Also, I imagine Kanani with the Jess Face Mold, medium skin, black, wavy hair, and brown eyes. What do you think?

I can't wait for GOTY 2011! My sister is more likely to get her, though. Besides, we just got back from Hawaii a week ago, so she'd be perfect!

As for your holiday outfit, it looks really cute. And I recognize those shoes and tights from last year...

I'm kinda psyched to see this doll! I'm a little old to be playing with dolls, but i'm excited. This girl sounds like she looks like me! I'm Filipino, which is very similar in looks to Hawaiian. i have wavy black hair, tan skin, and brown eyes too!
